The profit made from the purchase of art, food, posters, and t-shirts is used to give back to the West Michigan community.

The festival uses music and activities to bring together people from different groups from the West Michigan community. Speakers from diverse environmental groups are able to educate the attendees about water quality issues in between bands. The event also encourages the residents to engage in activities that will promote a healthy environment such as purchasing quality environmentally-conscious goods. This is a holistic music festival on all levels.
